David Miles

David W. Miles is a financial services executive, investor and entrepreneur with deep experience in capital allocation and business operations. His expertise in evaluating public and private investment opportunities, financial oversight and strategic planning strengthens the board’s oversight of disciplined capital deployment and long-term growth opportunities. Mr. Miles qualifies as an SEC audit committee financial expert.

As founding partner of ManchesterStory Group since 2017, Mr. Miles has helped build a venture capital platform comprising 50 portfolio companies across three funds. The firm has invested approximately 75% of its capital as lead investor, providing him with extensive experience evaluating emerging technologies and scalable growth opportunities.

As chairman and principal owner of Miles Capital Inc. from 2010 to 2020, Mr. Miles oversaw the firm’s growth to approximately $1.7 billion in assets under management before its acquisition by PMA Financial Network.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Miles held senior leadership roles in banking and financial services, including serving as chief operating officer of AMCORE Financial Inc., where he oversaw day-to-day operations and supported strategic growth and financial management.
