It’s part of what we call the Newmar Difference. And it’s people like Natalie Miller, a retail sales customer experience coordinator, who make it happen for outdoor adventurers every day.
For nearly eight years, Natalie has been helping customers build their dream motorhomes. Her service and attention to detail reflect both her professional expertise and a personal connection to the outdoor lifestyle. “I camped all the time as a child,” Natalie says. “It was definitely a part of our summers. Now, it’s part of my children’s lives, too.”
When she’s not enjoying the great outdoors with her family, Natalie works closely with Newmar customers to design one-of-a-kind coaches tailored to their vision. She ensures every detail is just right — walking them through floorplan options, helping them choose custom backsplashes, selecting paint finishes and more— to make their coach feel like a personal home away from home.
Beyond helping customers design their dream Newmar coach. Natalie attends major RV shows like the Florida RV SuperShow in Tampa, Florida, and America’s Largest RV Show® in Hershey, Pennsylvania, to meet with potential new customers. She is also involved in Newmar’s More Than a Number process, where customer photos are placed on a coach’s front windshield so that production team members can see who they’re building that unit for.
Natalie also takes pictures of the coaches during the main production build so that customers can see the progress of their dream motorhome if they can’t be there in person for a tour. She even makes a point to check in with customers when they come pick up their coach or visit the service department.
She shares that her true reward is connecting with customers and seeing their enjoyment and satisfaction shine through: “Getting emails like, ‘Oh my goodness, our paint looks even better than we thought’ – that is hands down the best part of my job,” she says.
In addition to her sharp eye for design, Natalie is committed to learning the engineering side of the process so she can answer as many customer questions as possible. “When a customer comes to me, they have a lot of questions about the ins and outs of their coach,” she says. “I’ve just been proactive in finding answers myself, working with our engineering team and even studying the CAD blueprints for our models.”
