Cardinal Winnies

May 1-3 was the spring WOW campout attended by 44 total Winnebagos and five of those were Cardinals.

The first campout of the Cardinal Winnies was held May 15-17 at the Back Forty Campground in Rushsylvania, OH. Twenty members and one guest were present. Jacob, grandson of Dave and Gail Franke, was our guest. There were two ponds, one for swimming and one for fishing; a nice walking path; and lots of deer. Some members toured the small surrounding towns.

Joyce McDaniel shared some of the highlights of her missionary Nigerian trip. We didn’t have to listen long to be reminded of how good we have it. She requested that we save our old blue jeans, stamps, and postcards of any kind for Wycliffe.

Saturday we went to the Whitmore House for dinner. This is a Victorian style bed and breakfast. Most of us checked out the rooms to see the variety of décor and the gardens.
