Oct. 8 - 10, six coaches enjoyed our last outing of the year at Double Nickel Campground at Waco, NE. The weather cooperated all weekend for a change. We enjoyed watching the Nebraska football game with the McKibbens.
Saturday, we once again, enjoyed our potluck dinner at noon with our business meeting following. As usual, the good cooks found their way. Officers for the upcoming year were elected. Larry Becherer will continue with the presidency with the help of Larry Keeler as vice president. Jim Snow will serve as our secretary/treasurer. Campsites for the next year were discussed but were not decided on as of yet. Money was collected for the food bank and was decided it would be turned in to the food bank at West Point, NE. Dick Graybeal volunteered to deliver our contribution.
Saturday evening we enjoyed a fire with hot dogs included. Larry and Marilyn cooked well! Sunday morning we enjoyed the company of a couple of other Winnebago owners for rolls and fruit, compliments of Dick and Loretta McKibben. Goodbyes were said and our separate journeys began as we closed for another great year. Some of our members will be going south for warmer weather as usual, while others stay behind and dream. We hope for good health for everyone and travel safe.
