Our September State Meeting at Pine Mountain was so filled with interesting things to do that it was almost impossible to participate in them all. We especially enjoyed a trip to the Historic Opera House in Columbus where we were given a tour of the theater and treated to "Footloose," a wonderful musical. (Picture of Dan and Margie Rankin is attached.)

Our illustrious president and wife luxuriated in a box seat while most of us were relegated to orchestra.

Our trip to the new National Infantry Museum at Ft. Benning was complete with luncheon in the mess hall and an IMAX movie.

Just being with all our friends and sharing the down-home breakfasts, superb meals, and games were wonderful treats. The Metro Atlanta Winnies really know how to host.

We are now in the process of planning and organizing our 2010 GA State WIT Rally that will take place in Perry, GA in April. The theme is "Pirates Visit Mardi Gras." Make your plans to attend and we promise you—you won't be disappointed!
