On April 10, 2010, the Delmarva Winnies met at the Fairgrounds in Harrington, DE for our first outing of the year. The club participated in the Parkview 2010 Rally. The club again participated by helping Parkview with the parking. We held our meeting on Saturday where we had ten members present. During the rally, we were able to talk to several new prospective members and invited them to our meeting.

Our President, Art Cathell, welcomed 12 new prospective members at our meeting where we were all able to share about the club and what we do throughout the year. Several couples were also interested in attending GNR this year. We are hoping that several couples will be able to attend the GNR in July. Many of those present said that they had heard about the club when the dealer who they bought their rigs from had given them the information and a free membership to WIT. They had also received letters from our President, inviting them to join us. Our President sends out many letters to prospective members, so it was rewarding to have such good response from his letters.

We went over our scheduled outings for the balance of the year and hope that our guests will be interested in our club and join us at future outings. After our meeting, we attended the dinner provided by Parkview RV which was followed by a full evening of entertainment.
