The Delmarva Winnies held their September campout at the Holiday Park Campground in Greensboro, MD, Sept. 17-20. We had nine rigs present.

Some of the members visited the Tuckahoe State Park Saturday. The park has a wonderful arboretum with local species of plants, grasses, trees, and lovely walking trails. There is also a lovely lake with a boat ramp and shady picnic area.

Holiday Park is a very nice campground and offers various scheduled activities. Our weekend happened to include a Thanksgiving feast/potluck Saturday evening. They also had a hayride Saturday afternoon. We look forward to camping with them in the future and recommend others to experience the park. Management is quite accommodating as well.

October will be our last outing for the year 2009. Please note our 2010 schedule in the Who's Inviting Travelers section and plan to join us.
