November: The Delmarva Winnies celebrated their 15-year anniversary. The campout was a luncheon and then a get-together at the home of Art and Peggy Cathell. We started with a nice lunch at the Cracker Barrel in Rehoboth Beach, DE. Afterwards, we caravanned to the Cathells' home in Millsboro. We had an informal meeting and worked on our 2010 campout schedule. Following the meeting, we played a trivia game based on events that had occurred during our club's 15-year history.

To prepare for this, Art looked through the minutes of several years' meetings. The group was divided into two groups and the moderator and scorekeeper had to work pretty hard to get the game to end in a tie. Members of both teams were given a pen and key ring for their effort. Our sponsor, Parkview RV Center in Smyrna, DE, provided these gifts. This was a fun game that brought back many fond memories.

After trivia, it was time to eat again (Winnebago owners really enjoy this). Peggy had prepared delicious hors d'oeuvres and desserts that went quite well. Games were played with everyone having a good time. We welcomed prospective new members David and Debbie Nolan to our group and look forward to seeing more of them.

Several of our members will head to the warmer weather in FL. We have had a good year and are already looking forward to the 2010 camping season. We invite you to join us at one of our campouts next year.
