November: November was the AGM for our chapter which was held at Fraserway RV in Abbotsford, BC. Fifty FVE members attended and those who arrived early were treated to a showroom full of Winnebago coaches, including an old eyebrow model.

The 42" Tour was a showstopper and had us all drooling. At the meeting, we were introduced to the GM, Ken North; the Sales Manager, Stan Stewart; and the Retail Parts Manager, Jason Tryon, who gave us a presentation of some of their new products. After the meeting which included election of new officers and appointees for 2012, we were presented with a wonderful barbecued lunch provided by our hosts, Fraserway RV, and cooked by staff members.

December: Christmas dinner was served early for the 47 FVE members who attended our Christmas gathering. The party was held on Sunday, Dec. 4, at the clubhouse in the Breitenstein's townhouse complex. It was a great facility for the size of our chapter to have a catered sit-down dinner, with a few of the trimmings being supplied by our ladies. There was a gift exchange after the meal with everyone bringing a gift for under the tree. Numbered tickets were handed out upon arrival at the party and as a number was called, that person either chose a gift from under the tree or "stole" an already opened gift from someone else and gave their ticket to that person, who then chose from under the tree. There was much exchanging going on, especially some bottles of wine! A great time was had by all.
