Eleven Sunbirds and one guest brought their rigs to the November Sunbird outing at Fortuna De Oro RV Resort in Yuma, AZ. This three-night outing was held Nov. 19-22. By the end of our outing, our guest became a Sunbird member.

Thursday a potluck dinner was enjoyed at the RV Resort's Library/mini room. Besides a lot of fun and socializing that night, our members made individual plans to see the sites over the next two days. Some planned trips to Algodones, Mexico while others planned to go to the
ever-popular Yuma Flea Market/Marketplace. Also, plans were made for trips to the CO River Crossing Balloon Festival and to other local events being held that weekend.

Our Friday dinner was held outdoors at Don and Merith Cowden's house. Several Sunbird members, including the Cowdens, live in the area. Don and Merith provided an excellent dinner. After dinner and some socializing, we held our club meeting that included officer elections. The night ended in the Cowdens' backyard around the fire pit where some giant-sized marshmallows were toasted.

Saturday there were additional trips to local events followed by dinner that evening at a nearby local restaurant.

Sunday we enjoyed breakfast and said our goodbyes. Our next get-together will be the January state meeting in Gila Bend, AZ.
